  • There is an annual registration fee of $20 that is due at the time of enrollment or at the beginning of a new season.

Make-up Classes:

Missed classes are non-refundable, however, students may make up their absences in age and level-appropriate classes within 2 months of the missed class as long as

monthly tuition payments are continued. Makeups do not need to be in the same style of dance, students are encouraged to use their makeups as an opportunity to try different styles of dance. Makeups are forfeited when dropping enrollment, at the end of the dance season, or after 2 months from the missed class. Whichever comes first.

complimentary trial class:

New students are eligible to take one complimentary trial class at Odyssey before enrolling. Families who choose to enroll without doing a trial class forfeit this benefit.

rental shoes:

Students who attend their class without the proper footwear will be expected to rent ODA shoes for a small fee.

Classroom etiquette:

Students are expected to be attentive, respectful, and focused in class. We strive to create a learning environment where all dancers can focus on their training without distraction.

  • Students should arrive to class on time, in dress code, with a positive attitude & ready to learn.

  • As a courtesy to their fellow dancers and to minimize interruptions, students who arrive late may not enter their dance class until they are invited in by the instructor. Dancers should wait by the studio door until their teacher invites them in.

  • To minimize distractions, students should not bring any personal belongings into their class, except for a water bottle. All personal belongings (I.e. Street shoes, dance bags, phones, etc.) should be neatly stored in a cubby in our locker room.

Class Placement:

Students wishing to enter a level other than beginning, or outside of their age range, must obtain instructor approval.

concessions/Miscellaneous charges:

We believe that dancers require adequate fueling to focus, get stronger, and to have the energy they need to dance.

We are happy to sell healthy snacks & bottled water to our dancers. These concession charges will be added to your account balance, which can be paid at any time in our customer portal. If your account is set to auto-pay, you will be charged once your balance of miscellaneous charges (I.e. Concessions & shoe rentals) has reached $25 or more. If your balance does not reach $25 in a month, it will be included with the next month's tuition payment.

If you would like to opt your dancer out of being able to purchase concessions, please let us know via email info@odysseydanceacademy.com
